Intuitive Art Diaries: One Artwork at a Time

Hi everybody,

In the series Intuitive Art Diaries I would like to take you behind the scenes of my work, one piece at a time. That could be a drawing, a painting, a mixed media work, a sculpture, an art journal page, a collage, a piece of jewelry or a craft project. I aim to share more about my process, the materials and the colors I chose and my thoughts from start to finish. The idea is to give you a sneak peak behind the scenes of the creative process. I hope to inspire you and, if nothing else, bring you some joy.

Chatting about Intuitive Art with Samuel T. Woodbury, Artist

Hi everybody,

Today I have a very special guest for you. It is my sweet husband Sam who is a talented photographer and an aspiring writer. He is often photographing my artwork and portraits for me. I feel really lucky that I can freely dig into a photographer's stash to illustrate my articles and to find reference materials. I enjoy when he tells me the stories he has written. They often have a magical element to them or are referring to past times. Let's ask Sam to tell us a bit more about himself, what intuition means to him and how it fits into his creative work if at all and where we can find out more about his work.

This is Sam skiing in Herrenberg, Germany, 2010, where we have lived for a few years.
